We Walk for Multiple Sclerosis
As the weather warms, we are putting on our tennis-shoes in support of Walk for MS Virginia Beach AND Newport News this April.
Multiple Sclerosis is a neurological disease that affects the brain and spinal cord using the immune system. When MS is not in remission, it can be debilitating and relapse at unpredictable times.
Recent studies show that MS affects 1 million people in the US. A MS diagnosis doesn’t only affect those with the disease, but it also touches their circle of loved ones. This charity initiative hits home with some of our own family, friends, and staff afflicted with the disease.
There is currently no cure, but extensive research on multiple sclerosis helps find new ways for patients to live happier and fuller lives. Care-A-Lot Pet Supply is proud to show the continuing support for the Multiple Sclerosis Society’s mission to help those in our communities with resources such as research, mental health, support groups, education, financial support, and advance care needs for patients as research is still ongoing.
