Thai Ridgebacks have short dense coats that are red, black, blue and fawn in color.
The unique feature of this breed is the ridge of hair that lies along their spine
and grows in the opposite direction of the rest of their coat. The long head is
moderately broad between the ears and the skull is flat. The muzzle tapers towards
the nose. The almond-shaped eyes are either brown or amber with a dark nose. The
medium-sized, triangle ears are erect and set at the outer edges of the skull. The
teeth should meet in a scissor-like bite. The neck should be moderately long and
the chest is moderately broad. This breed can have wrinkles around the neck and
face. The well-developed legs should be straight and the round, oval-shaped feet
should have well-arched toes. The tail tapers to a point and curves slightly upwards.
