This puppy was found alone in the parking lot of the Grayson Stadium in Savannah, Georgia. After attempting to find the owners, it was clear the puppy was abandoned. You might wonder how on Earth someone would abandon this adorable puppy, but she found a new loving home with the amateur baseball team, the Savannah Bananas.
Upon finding the puppy, the team’s president, Jared Orton, immediately brought her in and gave her water, food, and took her to the vet for a checkup to make sure she received all the care she needed. Orton immediately grew attached to the puppy and decided she would be a great fit for his family and the team.
He decided to name her Daisy and she quickly stole the hearts of the team. Daisy goes to work every day with Orton. Right now she is the unofficial mascot, but they have plans for her to retrieve equipment and deliver balls during games as the Savannah Bananas’ bat dog once she is full grown and trained for the job.
Until then, Daisy is loving life with her new family.
